Halloween Night - October 31, 2010
by Karen Dunn | November 4, 2010
Jay's parents, Jon and Mihoko, invited us to go trick-or-treating with them and their friends. Jay is one of Ryan's friends from school. Jon, Mihoko, Tammy and Tucker - Thank you for including us!
We started the night out at a pizza party at Tammy and Tucker's house, friends of Jon and Mihoko. They have lived in Panajachel for almost 20 years. They own a great bakery in town. It turns out that this is the bakery that we got Nat's 40th birthday cake from last February when we were here. The pizza was delicious. I brought a fruit salad that everyone seemed to enjoy as well.
After dinner we hit the town to do some trick-or-treating. We stopped at approximately 10 different houses all over town. Tammy had arranged in advance which houses we would visit. It took a lot of coordinating! Everyone had a great time and the boys didn't have to go a year without trick-or-treating :-).

We ended the night back at Tammy and Tucker's house. Jared said it is impossible for anyone to fall asleep in a tuk-tuk, but Justin did on our way home.

Jay below - a knight. His mother, Mihoko, makes him an amazing costume each year. I wish I were that creative.
