Flying kites! - November 1, 2010
by Karen Dunn | November 4, 2010
Monday, November 1, the boys didn't have school. It was closed to celebrate The Day of the Dead. Jared, Ryan, Justin and I went to Jabel Tinament to have our regular Spanish lessons.
During their lesson, Jared and Ryan got to fly kites on the top of the school. A lot of kites were in the sky on this day.
Nat met us in town and we went out to eat at our new favorite burrito place. Can't beat delicious $2.50 burritos!
Lesvia brought us a plate of the typical food they eat on this day. It was delicious. They prepare a lot food and bring some of it to their dead relatives in the cemetery.
The plate of typical food -- Fiambre -- that she brought to us.
