First Weekend in Pana
by Karen Dunn | September 27, 2010
Friday we got our first order of beef delivered. Door-to-door service, direct from the farm. Our landlady said to keep it in the fridge for a few days because it is too fresh to put in the freezer. Don't quite understand, but I'm doing what she said.
Saturday we went into town to have lunch and go to the market. It was a rainy day. Supposedly a hurricane was going to hit, but I think it missed us.

Near the market we found an "arcade". The boys played a few games of foosball. A local boy came up and joined them.
After they played foosball, we all went to the market and bought some more avacado, tomatoes, and potatoes. While we waited for our tuk-tuk ride, we visited a pet store across the street from the market.

Today we had a lazy day at home, eating, playing with Legos, reading, learning to use Skype and watching cartoons in Spanish.
