The Dunns

First Soccer Practice

by Karen Dunn | October 10, 2010

I have to include a picture of the stairs Ryan fell down the other day.  He was spinning around in the kitchen and lost his balance.  Thought the door was closed (I think) and tumbled backwards down the stairs!

See the scratch on the face
Today Jared, Ryan and Nat started practicing with Robin, a former pro, and the kids from Mayan Families.  They had a great time.  Take note of the field they are playing on.  The dust was flying everywhere.  Robin was a great coach and the kids were really good.

Check out the ladder we had to climb down

After soccer practice, we went to check out SmokinJoe's BBQ.  A lot of the teachers from LIFE school go there every Saturday, so we had to go.  We got the beef and pork ribs.  It was very good, however, there was a fly in the cornbread.  I wasn't at the table when Nat and the kids found it, but it looks like Nat discovered it before putting it in his mouth.  I would go back again :).

Extra treat :-)

Good Food!

Was the perfect fall day for soccer here too. Love the pics! Did you bring those plastic bins of bandages with you?

That's from Cullen, just in case you couldn't tell (he's so eloquent, I know). Great pictures. I've found flies in my food here in NYC-- it's a truly international experience!
