We started celebrating my mother's birthday yesterday.  We had a party for her at San Buenaventura.

We were supposed to have nachos and guacamole by the hot tub at 4pm, but they forgot to turn on the tub.  It takes 3 hours to heat up.  Instead, they fired up the sauna and we laughed and ate nachos inside the sauna.  It wasn't too hot in the sauna.  After dinner, my mom, Nat, Jared, Ryan and I got in the hot tub.  It wasn't quite hot enough.  The rest of the party went to bed.

Today, my mom's actual birthday (Jan 15), we said goodbye to Mary and Maitland :-(.
