73. Antigua - Dec 30 2010
by Karen Dunn | February 9, 2011
Today we headed to Antigua, 45 minutes from Guatemala City. We met up with Nat's tutor, Hector, and his wife and two kids.
We met in the central park and then went out to eat at a very good Chinese restaurant not too far from the center.

After lunch, Hector and he family took us on a walking tour of the city.
The kids got to climb again, this time on the ruins at Saint Francis. They didn't quite compare to Tikal, but they did enjoy them.

After visiting Saint Francis, we went and had an ice cream and said good bye to Hector and his family. It was nice having our own personal tour guides in the city.
