62. Belize - Snorkeling Trip (12-21-10)

by Karen Dunn | February 6, 2011

We began most mornings in Belize at Glenda's restaurant.  For $4.00, you could get a great omelet, a coffee, and a delicious cinnamon roll.  They had delicious fresh squeezed orange juice as well.

After breakfast, the hotel dropped us off at EZ Tours for our first excursion.
Before the tour with our equipment.

Our first stop was a protect area for manatees.  On our way, we came across a few dolphins :-).  We were really excited about this.

The white blobs in the picture below are the manatees.  The dolphins were a lot more interesting.

Then we stopped at an island with no bathroom and no good place to swim.  The tour made tuna sandwiches from a can.  I wasn't impressed.
